Hi, I’m Aikoi.
I am a Chicago-based hobby artist on a self-taught journey in art. As a child I enjoyed writing and creating, but as an adult I pursued opportunities that allowed me to make a living. I have worked as a journalism fellow, marketing coordinator, and educator.
I also enjoy seeing the world and my travels have taken me to Japan, where I served as an English teacher for the Jet Programme, and to England, where I studied writing in the beautiful city of Bath.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Arts in Writing for Young People. I currently work in higher education and share my world with my young daughter and talkative cat Charlie.
